Anne Marie Mohay went to heaven on March 13, 2025, surrounded by her family. Anne was born in Springfield to Michael and Barbara (Marion) Mohay on September 20, 1969.
She was a loving mother to Jeremy (Lindsey) Merz, Alexandra (Thomas) Merz and Corey (Kayana) Hillen; stepmother to Kristina (Steve) Gammons, Tyler Hillen and Kyle (Lindsey) Hillen.
She especially loved being Granny Annie to all her grandkids. Kyle and Kayden Conder, Mattyson Thornton and Bryson Gammons, Izabella and Nikolas Hillen, Lily and Bryer Hillen, and baby girl Merz on the way.
Anne retired from IDOT at the end of 2024 after 30 years of service.
Anne loved vacationing at the beach and loved celebrating the holidays. She especially loved Halloween and handing out candy. She also loved to decorate her Christmas trees and spend time with her family on the holidays.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and her aunt, Betty Tucker.
She is survived by her sisters, Laura (Matt) Kuchar, Christine Wagner
