Bobby J. Hall, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Bobby was born in Andalusia, AL on February 27, 1943, the son of Hurgon and Pearlie Mae
(Bradshaw) Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Billy Hall.
Bobby leaves behind family and friends who will cherish his memory, including his wife, Deborah
Cooper, sister, Mary Blackmon, of Huntsville, AL, brother, Burney (Gena) Hall of Buchanan, MI,
children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bobby will be remembered by everyone whose life he touched as being a kind, considerate and
compassionate man. His volunteer efforts spanned many years and he served on multiple boards in
various capacities, including but not limited to Attention Homes for Youth, Headstart Policy Council,
Big Bros/Big Sisters, Planned Parenthood, Crime Stoppers, Family Service Center, Illinois Interagency
Athletic Association, Central Counties Health Center, FCAN-Red Ribbon Trail Camping Program,
Springfield Commun
