Dolores J. Novak passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on June 8, 2024 in Springfield, IL.Formerly from North Chicago, Dolores was born January 20, 1934 to Ignatius and Jennie Jesenovec. She was a 1951 graduate of Waukegan Township High School and was married to the late Louis D. Novak for 66 years until his passing in 2020.Dolores was employed at the Waukegan Housing Authority and Lake County Housing Authority before retiring to Las Vegas, NV for 30 years, in Sun City Summerlin. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Springfield, IL and a member of the KSKJ American Catholic Slovenian Union. She was an avid reader, a Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey fan, and she enjoyed many clubs while retired in Sun City including regular fitness classes and sewing baby layettes for charity.
