Barbara Deschamps, nee Vanderveld, age 69, was called to her eternal resting place on June 20, 2024. She entered this world on May 14, 1955 in Oak Park, IL, born to Peter and Anna Vanderveld (nee Lanenga). She is survived by her husband Dale Deschamps, son David (Anne) Deschamps; daughter Nicole (Richard) Brown; mother Anna Vanderveld, sister Patricia Vanderveld, brother Glenn (Karen) Vanderveld, and sister-in-law Sue Vanderveld. She was a loving grandmother to Noah, William, Avery, John, Claire, Graham, and Brian. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Peter Vanderveld and brother, Paul Vanderveld. Barbara was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend to many.
Barbara grew up in Wheaton, IL and graduated salutatorian from Wheaton Academy. She later graduated from North Park University and went on to become a nurse to fulfill her role as a caring and compassionate person.
